`Peach, pho and piano` screened at the film week of 70 years of victory at Dien Bien Phu
(Dan Tri) – `Peach, Pho and Piano` – a film using the State budget that has caused a fever recently – was chosen to be screened on the opening day of the Film Week commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7).
In addition to Dao, Pho and Piano, the feature film Rose Platoon and two documentaries `Memories of Firefighters` and `Accompanying History` were also selected to be screened during Film Week.

According to the Cinema Department, among the four films selected for screening, only the documentary Accompanying History will be produced in 2024, which the Central Documentary and Science Film Studio has completed as planned.
Accompanying history continues to be shown in films commemorating major holidays of 2024 such as April 30 – May 1, May 7, May 19.
The film week commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory is hosted by the Department of Cinema, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH, Sports and Tourism), in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province and related units.
The opening ceremony of the Film Week took place on the evening of April 24 at Dien Bien Phu Cinema.
Within the framework of Film Week, the Cinema Department organized the display of some documentary photos of Vietnamese Revolutionary Cinema when participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign (Photo: Document).
Along with film screening activities, on this occasion, the Cinema Department will organize two exchanges between film artists from the two film groups Dao, Pho and Piano and the Rose Platoon with officers and soldiers of the 82nd Infantry Regiment.
At the same time, the Department organized a group of artists to offer incense at the Martyrs’ Temple, visit historical relics such as Hill A1, Do-cat tunnel, Muong Phang, Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum…
At the opening ceremony, the Cinema Department will display a number of documentary photos of Vietnamese Revolutionary Cinema during the time of participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in the lobby of the Dien Bien Phu cinema.
This is a meaningful activity, recognizing the valuable historical contributions of the first generation cadres and artists of Vietnam’s revolutionary cinema who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, writing heroic pages in the history of Vietnam.
The Cinema Department said that towards the big anniversary films of the year such as April 30 – May 1, May 7, and May 19, the Cinema Department has prepared films for printing and sending to film centers,
