A new series of cars will be launched in Vietnam in March, with a model that `eats gas like it smells`

(Dan Tri) – Volkswagen Teramont X, Volvo S90 Recharge or Ford Ranger Stormtrak are car models scheduled to launch domestic customers this month.

The Vietnamese car market promises to warm up in March, after experiencing a rather quiet February due to many factors, including the fact that this time coincides with the Lunar New Year holiday.

Volkswagen brought it to Vietnam at the beginning of the year, but it was not until March that this European brand launched the Teramont X. Similar to the previous Viloran, the new car model was also imported from China.

Volvo S90 Recharge

The plug-in hybrid version of the Volvo S90 model will be launched in the middle of this month, according to some sources.

In fact, the engine on the S90 B6 also has the support of an electric motor (mild-hybrid), but the battery cluster is relatively small, only having the main effect in supporting acceleration.

According to some sources, the fuel consumption on the energy label of the S90 Recharge is only 1.4 liters per 100km.

Ford Ranger Stormtrak

After Thailand, Vietnam may be the next market to welcome the Stormtrak version of the `popular` Ranger pickup truck.

The dealer said Ranger Stormtrak will be launched this month.

There is no information about whether Ford Vietnam will sell Ranger Stormtrak in parallel or use this version to replace Ranger Wildtrak (Photo: TopAuto).

In terms of exterior appearance, the Stormtrak version has a new grille, hidden interior lights, 20-inch alloy wheels and Stormtrak logo, along with diagonal striped decals on both sides of the body.

According to the dealer, Ranger Stormtrak is equipped with a 2.0L bi-turbo diesel engine, 210 horsepower and maximum torque of 500Nm, comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 drive system.
