The world’s toughest bar exam takes place in New York

(Dan Tri) – The bar exam in New York state, USA, is considered by experts to be the toughest law exam in the world.

On April 15, the online community was stirred by the news that Kei Komuro, the newlywed husband of former Japanese princess Mako, failed the bar exam in New York for the second time.

This bar exam is organized by the New York State Board of Law Examiners, USA (BOLE).

On the first day, candidates must undergo two real-life situational tests (MPT) lasting 3 hours.

After that, candidates must pass the essay exam (MEE) which lasts 3 hours with 6 questions.

On the second day, candidates will have to go through a 6-hour `marathon` exam with 200 multiple-choice questions.

This exam organized by BOLE is a prerequisite for anyone who wants to practice law in New York.

Held only twice a year in February and July, the New York state bar exam attracts a large number of candidates from all over the world.

Historically, many famous people have failed the New York state bar exam.
