(Dan Tri) – Coach Erik Ten Hag said that Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz’s goal celebration made Man Utd players angry and they tried to respond with a goal at the end of the match.

`I have no opinion about that celebration. I haven’t asked my players about it. But that celebration may have given us more motivation to find a way to score,` said coach Ten Hag.

The Dutch strategist mentioned Brazilian striker Douglas Luiz’s goal when he scored a 1-1 equalizer for Aston Villa in the 67th minute. The player then celebrated by `belly dancing` in front of the players.

Man Utd played confidently and scored the first goal in the 17th minute from striker Rasmus Hojlund.

However, in the 86th minute, substitute McTominay scored a dangerous header to bring a 2-1 final victory for coach Ten Hag’s team, thereby helping the `Red Devils` rise to 6th place after the round.

`We have to think about our match. Not about the opponent’s provocations. We always want to control the match and score goals to win. That is our goal.

I think we can beat any opponent away or at home.

Ten Hag also heaped praise on midfielder Scott McTominay, who scored the decisive goal after being sent on to the field.

Now McTominay is an example to many others.

The victory over Aston Villa is Man Utd’s fourth consecutive victory.

Regarding Man Utd’s current performance, Ten Hag said: `This is very important for us. The goal is to stay close to the top 4. That is our goal and the whole team has achieved it.

The match against Aston Villa is like a tennis match, things could go the other way.
