(Dan Tri) – In the Euro 2024 qualifiers, England beat Malta 4-0 and France defeated Gibraltar 3-0.

Marching on Malta’s field in Group C of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, the England team with its superior class confidently pushed the attacking squad from the beginning.

The more the British played, the more comfortable they became and in the 28th minute, the gap was doubled after a beautiful `cannonball` shot by Alexander-Arnold.

Harry Kane himself was responsible for kicking the penalty and he successfully completed the assigned task, helping England lead 3-0.

In the following period, coach Southgate and his team still completely dominated Malta even when their playing motivation decreased significantly.

In the 82nd minute, England was awarded a penalty again because a Maltese player touched the ball in the penalty area after a pass from Wilson.

With a big win over Malta, the England team has won all three first rounds of Euro 2024 qualifying. They are 6 points ahead of the 3 teams right behind in Group C, Ukraine, Italy and North Macedonia.

In his first match as captain of the French national team, Kylian Mbappe played energetically.

In the second half, Dembele and Antoine Griezmann continuously shot from long range but the duo could not score.

Facing Poland away from home in a friendly match, Germany came out with a 3-4-2-1 formation, with Kai Havertz leading the attack.

Attacking little, Poland showed sharpness in attack in the 31st minute. From a corner on the right wing, defender Jakub Kiwior hit the ground uncomfortably with his head into the German net, opening the score 1-0 for Poland.

Receiving a goal, Germany attacked strongly but could not score in the remainder of the first half. In the 48th minute, midfielder Joshua Kimmich launched a beautiful long-range shot that found the Polish crossbar.

In the remaining minutes, the Germans continued to increase the pressure, but Havertz’s incompetence and goalkeeper Szczesny’s excellence forced Germany to accept a final 0-1 defeat in Poland.

This is the second consecutive match that Germany has not won.
