After the opening whistle, Man Utd showed the class of a big team when coach Ten Hag’s team pushed their team to attack.

The opening goal helped Man Utd players feel at ease.

Two goals and an overwhelming position in the first half helped Man Utd players feel completely secure going into the second half. Coventry only had one harmless shot in the first 45 minutes.

Man Utd led 3-0 two-thirds of the way through the match and thought Ten Hag’s army had secured victory, leaving no chance for Coventry to rise.

In the 63rd minute, coach Robins immediately replaced 3 players to increase Coventry’s attack power. However, his team had nothing to lose.

In the 71st minute, the score suddenly shortened to 1-3. New substitute Tavares crossed the field accurately so that Simms could cushion the ball with a copper pipe and send the ball close to the right post, making Onana unable to block it.

The goal encouraged Coventry to continue attacking.
